Multivisionfx, founder Michael Del Rossa, originally from Rochester, NY was fascinated by the effects in horror films at an early age and began creating his own in his early teens.
After he moved to Los Angeles in 1995, Michael started his own company Multivisionfx Fx, through which he has contributed to numerous high profile productions such as The Passion of the Christ, The Watchmen, 300, I am Legend, Pirates of the Caribbean and Afterimage, for which he produced and directed the documentary “Portrait of Death” (The Art of Special Effects Makeup) and several more documentaries since.
His credits also include such high profile Television series as: The Deadliest Warriors in which he brought a whole new level to Ballistics Science Testing Models a high bred mix of prosthetic makeup techniques, Ballistics technology, and anatomy to create effects ballistics testing torsos that propelled the viewing of the series. His creative contribution of this technology can be directly traced to it’s success.
Currently, he has made the transition into the next logical path of a Filmmaker including disciplines such as Writing, Producing, and Directing and still produces incredibly creative and ultra realistic Special Makeup Effects for both his and other productions.
